Veterinarian
Dr. Janhavi Bapat was born into a legacy of animal care. Growing up in Mumbai, India, in a family of veterinarians, including her father, aunt, uncle, and brother, she saw firsthand the profound bond between people and their pets. With her mother serving as a practice manager, Janhavi learned early on that veterinary medicine is a true family calling.
Dr. Bapat completed her comprehensive veterinary training in India, where she went on to earn an advanced degree in surgery. Her personal relationships led her to Canada, where she joined the Thetis Heights Veterinary Clinic team in 2023. In 2024, she successfully completed her Canadian qualifications, officially bringing her specialized surgical expertise to our Langford community.
Janhavi is known for her calm demeanor and her dedication to precision in the operating room. She is currently away on maternity leave, enjoying time with the newest addition to her own family, and we look forward to her return.
