Margaret’s journey in animal care began at just 16 years old in Prince George, sparking a lifelong passion that continues today at Thetis Heights Veterinary Clinic. As the co-owner of our Millstream veterinary clinic alongside her husband, Dr. Jay Rolfe, Margaret ensures that every pet and owner who walks through our doors feels like part of the family.
From Art to Animal Care
Born in Whitehorse and raised between Winnipeg and Prince George, Margaret’s background is as vibrant as the clinic’s interior. While she studied at the Emily Carr College of Art and Design, her roots in veterinary medicine never faded. It was at her first clinic job in Prince George where she met Dr. Jay Rolfe—a partnership that eventually led them to open their own practice here in Langford, BC.

Margaret’s favorite part of the day is connecting with Millstream pet owners and building lasting bonds with their furry companions. Her unique artistic touch is what makes our clinic feel like a warm, welcoming home rather than a cold medical office.

A Family Tradition in Langford
Thetis Heights is truly a family affair. Margaret and Dr. Jay have four children, and their daughter, Dee, also works right here at the clinic. At home, the family stays busy caring for their two cats, a turtle, and a serene pond filled with goldfish and koi.
